A special mother
Lauren Hamilton ands, Jack Madison had first met when she was still training to be a doctor, but he'd vanished from her life just when she was about to tell him she was expecting a child. Reluctantly she'd returned home to her parents, but a difficult birth had resulted in the loss of her daughter.
Now fully qualified, Lauren is upset to find the new staff member is Jack, who must have had a very rapid affair after he left her, for he now has a small son, Danny, as Lauren discovers when Danny has to be brought into hospital with appendicities. He's delightful child, and he and Lauren are very drawn to each other - but why does this make Jack so edgy?
